Default Help, putting uncles cobra back together. Vacuum line question.

Does any one know what this vacuum line connects too? There are 4 hole coming out of the back of the intake for the Kenne Bell, and we just can't remember where this one goes.

The third line from the left is the same line that you can see the tip of.(the one all the way to the right on the back of the intake there)

If all the ports are next to eachother on the blower or manifold it shouldnt matter it just needs a vacum source.

Hmph, If we just pick a new spot though, that would leave an old vacuum source open and cause problems though wouldnt it? I was just wondering if there is a standard spot that we are just over looking... :?

What uber is meaning is if there are 4 holes in the KB and you have 4 hoses then it doesnt matter what vacuum line goes where as long as all 4 hole have hoses

Is it a factory line? Or is it for a boost gauge?

When we looked through the Kenne bell owners/ write up thing, it sounds like it may be for the boost gauge, butt, we didn't put this blower on the motor originally, so I'm not 100% on where it goes.. Where do the 4 hoses normally go? What are the 4 options usually?

There are 4 holes back there, but one has a plug in it so there is really only 3 that will be used. the other two where easy because we labeled them, and this one there wasn't any..

The old vacum port might of been on the NA manifold, as long as all the hoses are hooked up and there are no open ports youll be fine. It sounds like u have one open port left and one mystery line. Just plug it in to that port and ur done.

I think What I'm trying to say is coming out wrong. :? originally the vacuum line shown was plugged into some where, and now we can not figure out where it was originally plugged into. If I just find a new vacuum source, won't this leave the old vacuum source open? Therefore, causing problems?

The motor is an 03 cobra, so it was never plugged into an NA mani. This is the same cobra that we had the clutch grenade, that is termi swapped.

WAIT WAIT WAIT!!, The line I'm showing is ALREADY connected to the manifold.(It's connected to the third hole from the left) I'm trying to figure out where the line goes once connected to the mani, what is it trying to pull vacuum on? I was definately not explaining things clearly earlier.. DOH!

So ALL of the ports have vacuum lines, but 1 of them is a mystery line on where it connects on the opposite end of the line from the intake mani.

Making more sense guys?

Yet again, sorry my friends for the confusion!!

Yeah makes more sense now haha, but I am a little confused did you say you followed where the other end of the line is connected to? if not trace that line down and see what is on the other side and let us know. But if it is another vacuum line but all your ports are full check and make sure the other 3 are actually vacuum lines and if they are then i think you can just plug that extra vacuum line, if im not mistaken aslong as all vacuum ports are filled you will be fine.
