Default Over Heating 03 Cobra

Hello,

I'm new to the forums. Just bought an 03 cobra a few months back. Overheated about a week ago. A few buddies looked at it and said it was the thermostat. The coolant was coming out of the radiator cap because thermostat was stuck open, so the only place for the coolant to go was in reverse. This is their claim. Any other suggestions? I found where the thermostat is located and haven't started taking it apart yet. Any recomendations on a certain temp or brand of thermostat?

Thanks in Advance

Patrick

Also, you need to refill the antifreeze through the cross-over tube (high point in the system) and NOT the overflow tank .... you'll have air pockets otherwise, and overheat again!
