Default Finally figured it out...NA powaa!

SO...after owning the car for several years and 'thinking' about a blower...or turbo...or SOMETHING! I've finally committed to something.

NA baby!

So far the car has the following mods;

C&L WAI (soon to be swapped out for a JLT 'true' cold air)
BBK 65mm TB
Steeda UDP's
BBK o/r H into flowmasters
4.10 rear
and a canned tune from BAMA on an SCT handheld

Car put down 275/270 last year before the udp's and handheld tuner.

Some suspension mods like upper/lower rear arms,
springs, shocks, c/c plates yadda yadda.

For the NEW plan, I'm going to be installing billet IMRC deletes (just ordered from 98 N/A 4v on SVTP *great guy!!*), longtube headers, and I'll be attempting my own shortrunner intake.

My ultimate goal is to put down as much power as possible without untightening a single bolt on the engine (save for the intake). Should be around 320 or so at the rears. I'd like to see low 12's with some weight loss and slicks.

Ran a 13.2 @ 105 w/ 1.8 60' with the aforementioned mods last year on nitto drags.

I'll probably run the engine into the ground over the next few years (rolled over to 93k last week) and rebuild a cammed out stroker (still NA).

I'd LOVE to see in the thereabouts of 400 RW with the right comp ratio/cam set up.

That would be a STOUT cobra!!

Yay.

Yeah I have similar plans for my cobra seeing how it's an 01. There's nothing better than the sound of a cammed out v8. Down the road I'm going to bore out the motor and put in some forged rods and flat tops, stage 3 comp cams and get a port and polish job on the heads and intake. For now I'm just getting all the bolt ons I can get... TB, CAI, MAF sensor, Exhaust, etc and keeping up on all my mods with my SCT tuner. Glad to see another guy on here going for NA. We should keep in touch with our builds and see how they end up with everything said and done.

I understand people like the N/A path... but you could seriously buy every bolt on possible and make 300rwhp... or you could take an otherwise stock car and add boost and make 400+.

I learned the hard way on this platform.... I bought everything I didn't need when I just ended up with a blower at the end of the day.
