Default Might be getting a cobra.

Im wanting a early 2000s Cobra.

Im looking for something around 500 RWHP.

Now I have raced a few fwd cars and some 300-400 HP diesel trucks (ran a 13.4) but never a car with this much power. I raced offroad for a while so going sideways, shifting ect is no big deal.

This will be my first fast car. I just want a weekend cruiser and something that sounds awesome. Also something I can take to the track and have a little fun.

I will probably only have the money to do this once so I want to make sure I get the car I always wanted. Reason im not starting with a a GT with no mods.

Do you think this is something I can get used too? Or do you think its too much power for a new car owner?

Welcome to MF. Because you've raced I'm sure you will have no trouble getting used to the power and you'll be smart with it as well.

500hp is alot more than some people think. I think 500hp only seems like its not alot these days because you see all the 1000+hp street cars... but half of those cars cant hook on the street anyways. 03/04 are the only 2 years you should be looking for if you want to make a reliable 500hp easy. 01 you will have to do alot of work and even then its not as reliable at 500ish hp. You will start with 500 like some of us did, but then the hp bug starts biting and you find yourself with a empty wallet and a 800+ hp cobra.

Thats why I asked. 500 HP is ALOT IMO. I have had trucks with that much power but there so sticking heavy they hook up pretty damn well plus if it dosen't I have 4wd
