i think upr has a pretty bad a$$ kit. it was like $250 for clutch cable adjuster kit, with a clutch they claimed holds 600 rwhp. something worth checking out

When it comes to cables, never run anything but OEM, period. A king cobra will be fine for you if you plan on only lightly modding the car.

Putting a radical clutch in your Cobra can be disastrous to a stock T45. Unless are running a TON of power, you will do fine with a Ford Racing Clutch. This link has a good summary of FRP clutch options;

Order from Tousley Ford - no one can touch their prices and the guys really know their stuff. If the part you want is not on their WEB site you can still get it by phone.

Think about replacing the clutch fork, pilot bearing and pivot ball stud while you are in there.

You definitely do not want a HD pressure plate. The foot pressure needed to disengage will go much higher and your car will be less user friendly. You can use a heavy duty clutch disc if it fit the OEM style pressure plate.
I made this mistake once on a trans am and ended up hating driving it due to heavy clutch pedal.
Buy a good FRPP throw-out bearing and replace the pilot bearing too.

For the record I purchased my car stock in 2004, with 115k on it, the only stock peice left in the car is the t45 and my odomoter now reads 150k, wether it was replaced prior to me owning it im not sure. Ive ran heavy spec clutches since I purchased it, car has seen well over 150 track passes and thousands of miles of abuse, a chunk of those passes supercharged with 420rwhp and my trans has yet to skip a beat. Yes the t45 isn't one of the best transmissions in stock form but people seem to overdue it on the "its gonna blow" routine, alot of t45 failure has to do with people running the wrong fluids in it, as synchromesh fluids wear the organic/paper liners used in these transmissions.
