I don't like stabilizers in my toys. I will start it up as much as I do now. 2 maybe 3 times a month.. I will fill it up before the snow hits and run it for 45-hour to get the water out of the exhaust

I store mine every winter in the garage with no problems yet. I fill up the gas tank, first adding stabil making sure it is mixed in. Mats go under the tires, the battery tender gets connected, and then the cover goes on. I do not start it until it is time to take it out. It would be nice to live somewhere warm and not have to store it. But on the other hand I appreciate it more when spring rolls around and I have not driven it in a couple months.

I never understand the people that think you need to start a stored car once a month. You are building up condensation that will not get burned off just setting there. Your wasting fuel on a process that does not need to happen.
If you feel the need to get oil flowing through the engine pull the fuel pump fuse and crank the motor over
Other wise
-park on plastic (because of condensation)
-fill the fuel tank (because of condensation)
-drink a beer
-fill tires to the max air if not over fill (flat spots)
-dryer sheets or moth ***** or ivory soap (rodents)
-battery tender
-drink beer
-car cover
-and leave the damn thing alone until spring
I put mine on the V shaped tire dollies 1 so the tire has more contact less chance of flat spots and 2 makes it easier to move car out of the way in the garage

On top of what everyone else said, place a moisture absorber like Damp-rid in the interior to prevent any mildew, plug the exhaust tips with rags to prevent rodents from getting in, change to the oil to prevent condensation in the old oil from rusting anything, and detail it inside and out. This is what I used to do when I could store my car, now I get to drive it in the snow and salt. Awesome.

Car cover, full tank of gas with stabil added, carpet squares under the tires, and battery taken out.

Tomkat... U gave me grief on me putting a suspension under my ride and your telling me its just a car? Its like saying y wash it or wax it. It's not just a car it's a MUSTANG, classy sexy and powerful. It isn't a Chevy or a dodge, but a FORD
