Feels like somebody shot my dog, then gave me cheeseburgers...
So I recently found out the great news that I'm gonna be a dad! Which means I also get the not so great news of getting rid of the cobra, cause cobra back seat + car seat = no bueno. I don't think I've ever been so happy or sad at the same time before. Oh well, guess it's time to see what kinda mods I can do to a newer tahoe

Thanks! That was actually one of the first things I thought of, being able to keep the car and work on it/pass it down to him or her! But financially it just isn't an option to keep it and get a more family oriented vehicle too. I certainly don't mean to sound like I don't think it's totally worth it to get rid of it, but I do wish there was a way to keep it. I'm already looking forward to the day when I can get another one and have my child there to enjoy it with me!

Yep I agree with that statement. Luckily when my son was born I had a G8 GT that I was modding and continued to do so. 4 doors and can haul *** and people. Now that he's older I'm back into a Mustang.
Congrats on being a dad it is the greatest thing this life has to offer.

I know the feeling. I sold my 98 SS when my wife got pregnant with our 2nd. I still miss that car. On the brighter side I have two great kids , have had several nice cars now that they are older including a 67 Chevelle, lots of nice diesel trucks and my Roush The kids are extra happy when I come to pick them up in the "nice ride" as my 11 year old daughter says. Congrats!!
