v6 vs 03/04 cobra comparisons

I guess I was just unclear. Im 22 now, I've had the car for awhile. I really like my mustang despite the fact that it feels really cheap, and I was just hoping that if I bought a cobra in the near future that....I wouldn't feel as much....of the cheapness? I suppose.
I was hoping the jump from the v6 to the 04 cobra would be like going from watching barney and friends to... pulp fiction?...if that makes any sense. I was teetering between the cobra or an 02 z06. But I really like the look of Mustang so..

^^^ like they say huge difference. I stepped up from a 04 v6 to 04 Mach 1 now to the 03 cobra. Each step felt like a completely different car.. The steering wheel itself is thicker/wrapped better and handling is amazing compared to the v6 or gt. I know exactly what you mean about how the car "jumps" when you hit bumps and my cobra doesn't do that but I don't have stock suspension.

You have pretty much the same suspension except the Cobras have IRS (independent rear suspension) which helps car handle better on the twisties. Cobras and GTs will have wider tires & that in its self makes a huge diff how the car "feels" on the road.
If the "jumping" you mean the rear end steps out on a turn when u hit a bump thats the solid rear axle causing that when one wheel hits a bump/hole that energy is transferred thru the axle to other/opp rear wheel, the IRS of the Cobra helps stop that. New shocks & better tires also will help.
A Cobra also will have a 6 speed trans.
Sorry about the but its such a HUGE difference its funny. Get a skin, it is the internet & I didnt bash you like I could have.
GL & btw, DSG is the best looking & fastest color on the GTs & Cobras. Just sayin...........

Hmm...while I can appreciate the question a lot of people whoare higher up in the car knowledge are going to clown this post. Ignore them! Let me just say it is a complete world of difference....going from a v6 to a supercharged v8 and going from solid rear to IRS is one hell off change too!

Obviously one is completely higher tiered than the other but I just wanted to know subtle differences or even similarities if there are any. Especially from people who've experienced both. But I totally understand the internet tough guy mentality and having to maintain a rep on an internet forum (wait I no dont!)
