v6 vs 03/04 cobra comparisons
So I currently drive a 2002 automatic v6 and.....well its basically a car for grandmas and it really doesn't have much power or smooth handling. I just had a few observations and wanted to know the differences first hand from drivers of the 03/04 cobra. I've read reviews and what not but I just want to hear from the drivers themselves. For instance on the v6 ive noticed...
Handling: Every little bump seems to move the wheel and turn the car in some direction...its just really sensitive. Sometimes I find it difficult to keep it straight...although it could just be the screwed up roads of San Diego. The steering feels like it could be tighter. This car also doesn't seem to handle bumps very well.
Acceleration/speed: If you punch it....you can tell the engines trying real hard to get somewhere but the entire thing just feels like a struggle sometimes. Like from 30-60 it feels nice and smooth but other times its kind of bleh on power so to speak.
I thought I had more to complain about but I guess I don't. I just wanted to know if any of you had driven the 6 cylinder model before. I'm almost sure they are completely different rides. I've had my mustang since I was 16 and it only has 70,000 miles on it and it honestly isn't a bad car, it just wasn't the car I expected to be when I got it.

Damn, you can flex over the internet. Thats tight. Was it really too much to ask for some simple comparisons? I'm sure they're obvious to point out. I don't get what I did wrong. Or if I need to undergo some sort of trials to gain your respect on a forum.

I've driven a 05 C6 corvette...that was somehow an automatic? Does that qualify me for answers and allow me to be an internet tough guy? Is it also too much to ask if this is a mustang thats worth buying? I know its better than the one I have, I just want to make sure its eons different since I currently have no way of test driving one.

Sweet video! and sorry if I worded this topic incorrectly. I just wanted to know how much better the 03/04 cobra is than the v6. Like obviously its a completely different car, I just wanted to know how much different it rides and what not. Little things I guess! Im probably being too vague.

What I should have originally asked was....just how much does it blow the v6 out of the water? (as it should) If you could just give me some sort of comparison. Does it make the v6 seem like a hot wheels toy? Are there any unfortunate qualities that they both share?

Dude... 03/04 cobra is world of difference than your 02 v6. It's as simple as that. Everything your v6 does the 03/04 Cobra will do way better. People will be a "little" bit more nice if you asked 02 v6 vs. 02 GT, but a cobra...

I just wanted some input from someone who had driven both. I should have specified more on the handling I suppose. Obviously a supercharged v8 is faster. I only wanted to know the extent of how much different the car feels. For all I know it could have a nice engine but still handle like a brick for whatever reason. I didn't know that getting some simple feedback was so beneath some people.

As someone who has driven both, it is a world of difference.
It also sounds like the V6 you talk about needs some TLC / upkeep.
The V6 is a good starter car for you at 16. Learn to drive it and take care of it. Much of what you learn can be put to good use if you want to step up to a more powerful version of a Mustang. It will allow you to fully understand and use the improvements offered in a car like the Cobra.
