Default Please help me!

Ok, so i have a 1998 mustang cobra, 85k miles on engine tranny, 172k on the body. When i get on it in any gear, it will bog down at around 3500 rpms. It just wont go anymore. iv already changed the spark plugs, wires, and fuel filter. i have also run octane boost and fuel injector cleaner through it. i cant seem to figure out what to replace next. Any suggestions??

Thank you!

Are the catalytic converters the original ones? They may be clogged after 172k miles. Here's a video on diagnosing cats:

yes, i just had a new set put on before i bought the car so it would pass inspection in my state and i took it to a local muffler shop just to make sure there wasnt anything holding back my airflow in my cats or mufflers.

if i accelerate slowly it will rev all the way to the rev limiter, but if i get on it at any rpm or gear it will bog down and not want to keep going past 3500 rpms.

The only things I can think of are low fuel pressure or dirty IMRCs. See these threads:

I'm 99.99% sure you need to either clean or delete your IMRC's they are supposed to open @ 3250 rpms.

MMR makes delete plates: http://www.modularmustangracing.com/prod_dohc.htm

IMO it would take roughly the same amount of time as cleaning them as you still have to take apart your intake.
