1996 cobra engine support

Default 1996 cobra engine support

hello, i'm trying to find a good way to support my 96 cobra engine to take the oil pan out, still need to drop the suspension and there are no eye lits on the manifold, any suggestions???

You can use an engine support bar, and use the two alternator bolt holes on the block. Did this a dozen times dropping k members. Can get an engine support bar at harbor freight for around $75

+1^^^. I used Harbor Freight's bar to install my MM front suspension. I did upgrade the chains at the alternator contact points, though.

The chains do seem cheap but ive used em prob a dozen times so far without disaster.
