A few more horses?
One more race this summer, and I'm trying to get a little more HP without spending lots of $$$
I've only installed a K&N cold air intake on my '01 Cobra, and bought some Nitto racing radials. I've gotten below 14.00 sec only three times. So the question is...what can I do to squeeze a few more horses out of her? Spark plugs? Wires? Octane booster?
Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks 97slobra. I know the 'vert is heavy plus the roll bar adds weight.
I take all the crap outta the trunk (not too sure about removing the seat)
I won't have time to change gears before Saturday though. That will have to wait for next year.

cheap hp=bag of ice. ice down the intake manifold in between runs. usually worth a tenth or two. experiment w/ tire pressure in those nittos, and practice, practice, practice your launch. and get some 4:10's or 4:30's on that bad boy stat!
I have put a number of mods on an 01cobra but for the $$$ putting el cheapo glass pack mufflers versus the stock mufflers really gave the car a big power boost. Need the type that are straight thru not chamber like FM 40's but more like the Borla or Loud Mouth but these only cost about $75 for both.
