I've got a 1996 mustang cobra svt. I'm trying to figure out what the best upgrades to do?

 

Kinda the same stuff as a GT; I'd start somewhere around gears, tuner and exhaust. These cars can also use a little bit of drop, and since you have the same crappy 4 link rear as a GT then at a minimum I would look into upgrading the lower control arms.

 

3:73 rear end would help a lot.

 

I have 4:10 gears and exhaust the guy I bought it from said it has a chip but I don't know how to tell if it is.

 

Just bought this car trying to research. Noticed other pics have red cobra insignia on top of engine, mine has a blue cobra. Does the red and blue mean anything different?? Thanks for the help..Bill
