speed control not working

cruise control not working on my 1999 Mustang cobra, not function at any speed, fuses look OK, any comments ?

First thing that comes to mind is the switches. I had to replace mine just a few months ago when I found the wires frayed where they were routed along the back of the steering wheel (behind the airbag).
