DropTop2000GT

So I've got a 2000 GT droptop and im not too happy with it. I want to switch to something more powerful and fun to drive, so im looking to get a Black SVT Cobra '96. Let me know thoughts and reviews on it, and if anyone has got one in good condition let me know.

i think that your current stang will have more power but i dont knoe the numbers in the cobra but i would love to have a cobra form 99-04 but any way good luck and keep us posted

blank you are very wrong the 96 cobra has 305 hp with a DOHC engine where as his GT only has 260 and if you put on a few mod like exaust you will have one bad *** car that you are very happy with. plus if the cobra is not a convert it will be lighter

it thought the 99-04 gt's were rated at 305 hp at the flywheel, and like 260 to the wheels, as are the 96-98 cobras.

The 99-04 GTs have 260hp at flywheel and the 96 SVT have 305hp at the flywheel= faster, have fun.

I believe the 96-98 have 305 hp and 99-02 have 320hp and 03-04 390hp

the 99 had a power problem and only made about 305.... just letting u know...

Those #'s are for the cobras...NOT his GT. THose year gt's are around 260-265 nothing great, but still quicker than most other cars if driven correctly. I have a 97 Cobra for sale 54k on it if your interested. You can email me or im me @ XlmunkylX

I think a vert is more fun to drive, But a Cobra will be more power to drive. Good luck with your search.
