I've read from magazines and from people on this forums that their 94-98 cobras got up to 55mph on 1st gear. My 97 cobra at 4k rmps only gets to about 20-25mph, with only 2k rpms left till redline, i don't think its possible that it can go all the way up to 45mph(what a website said).
so i should have like 4:10s or something? car feels like this: first geat spins, 2nd pulls like heck, so does 3 and 4. also 4th pull pretty good on the highway from 40-50 rolls too, so does 5th but not as good as 3 or 4th. Thanks for the replies, GOD Bless all!!!
Try that.. leave the mph blank, select your transmission and the gear your in, rpm your at, and keep plugging in different gear ratios (3.27, 3.73, 3.90, 4.10, 4.30) in untill it closely matches up. It will give you somewhat of an idea.
