higher octane gas?

Default higher octane gas?

I was planning on getting pullies for my 04 cobra, but i was told that higher octane gas is needed...will i be able to use 91 octane or am i going to need higher octane with the pullies?

the higher the better for a boosted car.. but I think you can get away with 91.. least I would hope, considering thats all anyone can get in like a 200 mile radious from my house.. would def run 93 if you could find it.

93 is hard to find in Ca. It depends on the tune that you have in the car, but raising the boost will require more octane. Stay away from octane boost in a can, it's junk and does not raise your octane the way they would have you think. You can always mix in a few gallons of 100 unleaded with 91 but that gets to be a real pain in a daily driver/street car.

get the pulley and get either a superchip or a predator and you can tune it for whatever octane you wana run
