Upgrades for a 98 Cobra
Could someone help me out PLEASE?!?! Could someone give me a short listing of a few modifications done to cobras to make them quick, in order if possible. Also whats a good company to get gauge bezels for columns and such from??? PLEASE HELP!!!
To add to the gears, exhaust (headers, x-pipe w/no cats or high flow), K&N air filter (the cold air kit is not really worth the extra money), and then under-drive pulleys (be careful to make sure that the underdriven alternator pulley will give you a full charge at idle, you may just omit this one to save the hassle). You can also relocate the battery to the trunk (it is relatively cheap and you gain traction while lowering the weight in the front of the car so the winning is thrice). Depending on the wheels that your car came with, you can get lighter/wider ones for more traction and less unsprung weight. On that note...an aluminum drive shaft is relatively cheap and further helps you get those available horses to the pavement. Another relatively inexpensive mod is a short throw shifter (it makes a bit of a difference no matter how fast you can shift). After all of this, the mods do become expensive and complecated. I will be interested in hearing how it all works out.
Good Luck!

Call them guys up and tell them how much you want to spend.
If you are not good with cars I would not do the gear thing first.
Go small
Computer, Air Intake, X-Pipe.
But call them they are the best in the 4.6 world.
