99 cobra mods
im sure everyone is sick of answering this question but i just bought a 99 cobra and i am looking to modify it and wondering what i should do first. I would like the best bang for my buck and i have just upwards of $1000 to spend. i was thinking some 3.73's and exhaust. is this the smart thing to do or should i go a different way.

GEARS!!!! Dont waste you time with 3.73's. You have 3.55's now, so whats the point of just going up that little? If you are scared of 4.10's keep your stock gear. 4.10's+ OR BUST!!!!
Gears and a nice catback(your choice) Would make a great gain in the 1/4 mile. My opinion is go with some 4.10's and borla catback. If u got the $$$ get Nitrous. Its not as dangerous and bad on your engine as everyone thinks/says.

1st - Cold Air (I highly recomend JLT True Cold Air.... The best of the Best) - Satisfied customer
2nd - Cat Back / X-Pipe (Recomend Bassanni, Magnaflow, Borla) Personaly I have Magnaflow Catback with Catted Magnaflow X-Pipe and love it...
3rd - Toss the Stock Shifter (Get MGW or Steeda Tri-Ax)
4th - Gears. Would really wake up the car (I have 4.10s)
5th - Underdrive Pulleys, Tune.... Beef up the rear end, suspension.......etc.
You get the Idea.....
