Hey everyone, I gotta question. I want to upgrade from my '98 gt to a '03 cobra. I found an 03 redfire cobra vert at a dealer about an hour away over the dealer's online website. The only problem for me is according the site, the Cobra supposedly has an automatic transmission. I thought all Cobra's had the 6-speed? Is it possible someone had one custom ordered with an auto trans, or had one put in after they got it? I tried calling the dealer but it no one is picking up, and I dont have a day to waste goin out there just to take a look, so i figured id get some experts' opinions! I sure hope the site is just wrong... otherwise i could be a bit pissed... lol

 

yeah, they are all manuals unless someone swapped in an auto, which some people do. More then likely the site is wrong though. I dont think that they could be ordered with an auto, it would have been a self swap job.

 

HaV, you are right. The place just called me back and said they made a mistake (thank God!). I think maybe this weekend I might be driving home an '03 vert with about 11,000 miles on 'er for just around $27g.... does that sound like as good of deal to you as it does me? Is that too much about right, or the deal I thought it was?

 

Good price? 27k for an 11,000 mile 03 cobra? Uhh.. yeah! Sounds like a great deal for the miles. Blue book retail in my area (which is a cheap location..) is 31k. I'd pounce on it.
