03 & 04 cobra owners question
A new hood wouldn't increase the threat...but if you want to change the hood, and you have the money to blow, then you aught to do it. So... I am not sure why you would think that the water would flow down onto the engine. What kind of hood are you looking for? If you give a little more info, we can help.
Never had a problem with it. I assume it ran down over the engine (if it actually got into the slots). But the only time to be concerned is if the water is blowing in your intake, and the heat exchanger slots on the stock 03-04 Cobra hoods just open up onto the top of the engine (or basically right on top of the S/C).
Does this help?[sm=smiley20.gif]

just dont drive the car in the rain lol j/p it wont harm your car if it drips into the engine. i dont think ford could of overlooked it if it would of been a threat but with ford nowadays you never know
water falls in front of motor & not actually on it.
But that's at a stop. But I don't drive the car in the rain - have no tracion.
I just swapped out the supercharger & now around 675rwhp. I need to re-dyno it to get numbers.
