I am having trouble finding a chip for my car. Since i have the 99 cobra all the companies (that i have seen on the internet) are claiming they will not make chips for my car. Since i had the hp default (which is fixed) and all. Do you guys know what is the best chip i should get. Thanks for the info</P>

get a MAF tuner instead of a chip. That will allow you to change the tune on the fly, or as new mods come. To really make it pop, put a digital wideband air fuel ratio gage on it, and you have dyno tune-ability on the street!

this is the best way to go regardless, as the OBD II is a pain to chip. you have to re program after every new mod. so if you plan to mod here and there go with this setup.if you just want to do a few mods and get one good tune, your best bet is dynotuning, as they now have programs to flash the computer so no chip is needed.</P>

I have heard good things about the hypertech power programmer.... Dunno from exprience, but it seems to be good.
