Default Texas Cruise - Feedback needed

Ok folks, I am trying to finalize some stuff about the Texas Cruise, but I have been busy trying to set the bar a little higher and make this into more than just a cruise. I also have some other groups from the area, and other sites interested in this. So here is my suggestion...

I am planning on making this a 3 day event.

Friday Evening - Group hang out/dinner
Saturday - Car Show, games and prizes, then cruise with the cruise ending up at a restaurant venue with live music (live music for us, I have a band lined up)
Sunday - open for discussion on idea here, but I was thinking of a group activity of some kind (go karting?) or hang out with food, or BBQ at a local park?

I am trying to arrange some vendors and prizes for the car show. And the current idea is to have it in Houston this go around with a cruise down into Galveston, along the coast and back up around Houston to our destination.

I chose the Houston area this time because there were several people who were wanting to possibly come from LA, and there are several vendors/band in Houston I could get involved.

What do you all think?

Since I live in Houston I think it's a great idea, however the roads aren't all that ideal. Given the fact that I've spent the past 8 years or so riding the backroads on my bikes, I know lots of good routes but for such large groups they may not work out too well.

That being said, I like the 3 day idea however I would probably only participate in the lunch and cruise.

Keep me posted on any scouting drives you want to do.

Not getting a lot of feedback here people

Spread the word, as we have a lot to do and little time to do it.
