I entered my 1st car show put on by my local Mustang club over the weekend and took home a Class Award (like 2nd place) for the 05-14 modified class. I had the only Cyclone there and there was one beefed up 4.0. Lots of Coyotes there though. I feel pretty good about getting any award but will need to step it up now. I *need* a trophy.

Hey, thanks. I'm in the Austin area and this was with the Mustang Owner's Club of Austin (MOCA). I'm looking at my car now to figure out how I can improve my scores.

 

Congrats on your win! My personal obsession when showing is the engine compartment. It's the first area people see when they walk up to your car. Make it clean and shiny. Lots of VRT on the hoses and wiping everywhere else.

 

Yeah, under my hood is immaculate. I keep that area as clean as the outside (and the insides). Reminds me, I need to get out and wash my car this morning before going to a club meet.
