Default Defective driveshaft and differential? ??????? Broke down stang less then a 1g.

I just got a 2016 5.0 gt and right at 200 miles on the car a driveshaft type of vibration started and has got worse it comes on right at 60 mph and gets worse the faster you go. I took to Ford and they said 50.60 days before they think they might get revised parts for my car so anyone here know what I can do? My car is just sitting at the dealer and I'm in a loaner car my first payment is coming and I have no car. My car is at mossy ford in pb California .

I just bought & installed the DSS 1 piece, American Muscle online has them "in-stock". They run $700.00 or so, try an get a discount to ease cost. Great mod & is 20 lbs lighter. I am very happy. With the Bassani exhaust my pony lost 70 lbs total from the two mods!

Not every part made will be perfect, that's why cars have warranties. Use the loaner car until they fix your car, think of it as free miles except for the gas. I know your frustration about not having the Mustang but spending a lot of your own money on after market parts to fix a part that was bad from the factory might be a waste of money.

Don't want to spend your own money when factory warranty will cover it...

Explain to dealer you must have car to use while yours is in shop.

That sucks.

You need to write an explanation letter to Ford, telling them your abundant displeasure and issues this has caused you. This keeps a track record, for any future issues that could come.

This can't be guaranteed, but I would demand the same car as a rental. Why should you join the Ford "experience" and be dropped in something that doesn't meet your payments or what you signed up for?

I just realized the age of this post....

Any news on what was done or fixed?

I wonder why it would take that long to get in parts for a vehicle thats still currently in production. Would Ford have to make/order these separate parts on a 'per order' basis (despite having thousands of vehicles in production) instead of stocking a huge supply bin?

Anything more than 30 days within the first year for the same issue warrants a lemon law investigation...

I highly doubt they'll keep your car for 50-60 days. Maybe 5-6 days...
