Default 2017 LED Side Marker Lights

Hello all. I am a happy new owner of a 2017 Mustang GT Convertible in white. I was thinking of installing LED side marker lights, and wanted some feedback on what brand and color to go with. The car is white, so I was thinking if going with the white lights instead of the "smoke" color, but not totally sure.

Feedback and greatly appreciated.

DOT Regs; Side marker rears must be red, fronts must be amber.

Walmart has the Sylvania LEDs for $6.88 each, and is what I am using.
6000k White, Red, Amber, Blue. Signal, brake & parking for $14.88 a pair.

I am using RED under the RED lenses, and Amber under the Amber lenses.
You can use 6000k under amber for a greener hue.

If you put 6000k white behind a RED lens it will be pink. They do not have 3600K
LEDs like the incandescent bulbs that are in there now. You'd have to get
those on eBay or elsewhere. 6000k also has a lean into the blue spectrum.

Because you can't get 3800K LEDs at a place like Walmart, you buy
the red LED, or amber LED for the appropriate location. Of course, they
will look much better in a clear lens housing, but in all cases, you buy
the color LED for the location.

The problem with smoked lenses is the light output is reduced, and the
lens may not be big enough for a higher power LED.

I am not sure you understand the part I am talking about. There are full replacement side marker LED kits thar replace the housing and bulb with a 1 piece LED unit.

Sure, but then you can't change an LED when one or some go bad. They had better
be good quality housings with LEDs, because a lot of them fail. Oracle was having huge
problem, with LED failures, that we had to quit using them all together. We put all that
time and effort into projects, for the LEDs to fail, and replacements to fail. I am 100%
done with buying aftermarket housings with built in, unserviceable LEDs. So, I use LED
replacements for bulbs in the car, because they last the longer. If I have to use load
resisters, then I don't use the LEDs. LEDs use less power, and I am not ramping up
current draw with a load resister... I do not care about Hyperflashing either. So, if the
Even if they stay on very VERY dim, I don't care. I refuse to use load resisters that
can melt plastic and cause other issues; another failure point that I have also had to
address three times in parallel a Dakota LED headlights to keep it from flickering till
the RAP time expired...

I do it simple, and refuse to complicate a friggin' light bulb...
