That's what two O/D gears will do for you.

Ford GT has the same ratio 6th speed that I do, it should get near identical gas mileage on the highway.

your saying a stroked out 331 is going to be heavier than a big block 427? Sorry dude, I have a hard time believing that

A 390 is a big block. Not a stroker SBF.

Not the Modular version. The one that is offered right now has the same deck height, etc as a 5.4L modular, just a longer stroke

Haha trying to confuse me. Going from BBF push rod motor to SBF modular motor. With that said, 5.4L's usually weight about 700lbs(big SOHC cylinder heads and modern electronics) while 427's weight rougly 600lbs depending on the year.

Yep. 1 Cam, none of the accessories that go with cams; chains, extra oil, oversized heads, etc.

Yes, but you will have more efficiencey from a blown 390 modular than you will from an NA 427FE

Now, don't get me wrong. I love big blocks, and I really love bad *** NA engines, but to keep up with a blown monster, your going to need a blown monster.

at least this way, we can match Engine size, Use the Same Blower, and probably have them come in at close to the same weight as the ZR-1

I'd rather keep it light and go push-rod. TT 408 FTW!
