Me vs Challenger R/T
Im bored and got to thinking about these brothers i know that go to our rical highschool. Daddy bought them both brand new 08 or 09 Challenger R/T's. manual i guess, im not sure.
so how would i do against them? we'd probably race froma dig maybe from a slow roll.
and i should have springs and full exhaust by summer

^^^ Of course this all is assuming they know how to drive, etc...
The new R/Ts are mid - high 13 second cars now, so they should win in the 1/4 against you, but that doesn't mean they will so give them a run and let us know.

I would imagine that with some practice launching on street tires, you could probably take a beginner learning the ins and outs of his Challenger in the quarter mile.
But once they're used to driving it, feeling more comfortable, and able to launch with some consitency, I'm sure it'll take you driving to your absolute max to hang with them. Even then, that might not be enough if it's true the R/T's are good for basement 13's.

Basement 13s though possible are the exception not the rule. Kinda like low 13s on a stock s197 GT. It's been done, has been repeated, but it takes an exceptional driver and pretty much perfect conditions. Just trying to put that into context.
