Lol I was never concerned. I know it looks/sounds/drives better. I was just wondering HOW BAD it was gonna be lol.

From what I've read the G8 GTs run high 13s in the 1/4 mile.

OP, your car would beat an MS6 even if your GT was still stock. With your mods, there is absolutely no question you will kill him. I'm surprised nobody else has pointed this out yet.

Ok So I beat him by 3 cars every race. He couldnt drive it.

some things I learned tonight:

I need to get some lighter wheels with DR's
I have a great reaction time (.002 and .010) but my 2.2 60ft kills me.
4.10 gears are ****ing awesome, they pull so nice.

My best run was only .2 better though. I ran a 13.6 at 104 mph. I wasnt too happy. But the funny thing was that my buddy, with the turbo AWD car, couldnt break into the 14's.

Time to spend money.

I did however beat a civic on 10lbs of boost, and a 1999 LS1 Camaro.

I also witnessed a 2004 Z06 drop his tranny at the 60 ft mark....that ended the night since there was parts everywhere.

You should be running a fair amount faster with your E/T's, I can't imagine your tire's being worse the the crapellis that our on most of the GT's.

Good job, if you can hook faster you should be low 13's easy. DR's could break you into the 12 second barrier.

Chevy should stick to engines, definitely not rear ends. haha

Im running a 295/40/20 tire so I was hoping for a 13.5 or better. With the DR's and 17's on all 4's Im def in the 12's.
