I guess it sounds like you should do it. You really don't have streetable power at the moment. Swap in the stock motor and throw a TT on it.

Yeah the power is definitely not streetable. I dont need a new stock motor. I still have the original Bullitt 4.6L sitting on an engine stand. We talked earlier today and we made a deal $13,000. So its his for sure now. We will pulling the motor and swapping it back for the stock this up coming weekend. I've looked into the TT system by Hellion and a couple Vortech Kits. I really liked the KB but I dont want to spend that much again. His prices are a little steep too, but they make awesome power. Any advice of what F/I system to run?

the Vortech is a nice system IMO, maybe not as quick as a KB. IMO its a nice balance for street/strip as its docile under 3000 rpm or so and pulls hard from there to redline +

with the 3.73 you have its a good combo from my view & experience. you must have GT500 pumps or better so with 39# injectors and a HO kit w/ a 3.4 pulley you could get 460-480 whp @12 psi or so and have a 11 sec ride.

You are in Indiana... if you want to you could go to brenspeed and get a saleen setup.. they hooked up my buddy with 500rwhp on the stock block running.. I believe a 9psi pulley? (maybe its 10psi).. they also sell the helion and vortech kits and tune those if you want them.. Just what I would do if I lived there.. or call them and ask what they would recommend for your goals..

I looking into the hellion kits right now, the vortech seems like the way to go and the install looks far more simpler.
