It takes 15HP to move another hundred pounds. So the 1000 pounds will eat up most of that 150 shot advantage. But were talking 650ish to the wheels on the spray. That a lotta freaking power.

I was assuming motor v. motor. The SRT may be able to leave the line harder with the stall and such, granted it catches tractions.

Check out the tranny gears. Im not saying the trans will put the SRT ahead, but it should help it, especially in the 1/8th...

Vette: 3.06, 1.63, 1, 0.7. Rear: 2.73
SRT: 3.59, 2.19, 1.41, 1.00, 0.83. Rear: 3.06

I'm getting really excited about this. I like all the different opinions and it doesn't look that one sided. It should be a good race.

knowing what A4 LS2's are capable of from a stop... I'm going to have to go with Mamba

I was cutting 4.5X 0-60's on my CAI/tune GTO... even though it's got 3.55's it's also trying to move almost 1,000 more lbs off the line with way more than 100RWHP less

the final drive ratio of 2.93 on the 4L65E should be absolutely pristine for the power levels and weight the vette in question is carrying from a dead stop... it should be absolutely deadly through the first 2 gears

Haha sweet, got myself a bench racing thread now

But yeah, right now I'm sitting @ full weight and 489/455 on 93 (just for this race I think I might keep the 93 tune, and run 100 or Torco).

Morbid, stock I pulled 4.5-4.6 0-60s constantly on the stock tires (F1 super cars), dropped that to 4.4s with CAI/Tune. Now with that said, I don't put any weight into the built in timer or the iPhone app I used to calculate those time. Zip, zero, nada, zilch.

I have all the bolt ons, ported matched and ported intake, 90mm TB, full exhaust (LTs, no cats, zoomers x-back), under drive pully, upgraded half shafts, blue top solenoids (transmission related), 2 steps colder plugs, CAI, and stock rear end (3.06), and a Zex 150 kit (wet), and 3200 stall. (Also have some oil cooling and extra transmission cooling mods done...meh).

With that said, I honestly think on motor he'll get me (or should). I'll be running Nitto 555Rs, no way I'm running without them on the N20. On the N20, who knows. But, with him around 44x? rwhp and me into the 600s some where I think I'll be able to hold my own. On motor similar cars they trap 118-120, not saying I'd get those numbers (never been to the track) but I'm just throwing that out there... Add in the spray and it'd be fun

I think it'll be more fun motor to motor. But, we'll have to see. Either way, as Mamba said it'll be fun I'll also hit up Fontana raceway to get some numbers for this setup.

And the last race for a couple weeks while the new stuff goes in, and the old stuff comes out Then, we can do it again

Yeah another factor for the dig is I have Continental tires on at the moment. I am not getting my Bridgestone RE 11s until next week I hope. If I get them for the race I may have to throw em on which should even it up a lil more but if I have my crappy continentals then I don't know how well I will launch, they spin pretty easy.

What are you doing all the way out there in CA SubTexel? We never did get to meet up before I left on deployment. I think its going to be a couple of awesome and fun runs either way. I'll give the nod to SubTexel on a 0-130 race with the n2o.
