You guys are forgetting that that an S197 GT (05+) with just a CAI and Tune can pick up 20-25 crank HP so a german car with 340 crank could pick up 30-35ish or so...40 is pushing it.

Derf, IDK where the chip is from, but the S197 gt can see as much as 35+ whp from a tune/cai, those are REALLY de-tuned from the factory, that's why I was asking about it because IDK if the S4 is too. 98LS1, the car is done, with all the parts, but I just got done swapping the drivetrain, suspension, and brakes out of my wrecked 89 GT and I've had a few little quirks with the wiring and **** after the swap. The thing about "my garage" is the little thing on the site where you can give info about your car, I just have a bunch of stuff done and it takes a while to list them all and sometimes I forget a part or two, so I find it easier to just say check the garage. I had plans to go to the track today, but I had to work late. I'll be getting some numbers in the next couple weeks before it gets too cold to run.

they don't seem to be detuned from the factory. i mean, when the car can easily loft at 170mph all day long (with the 155 limiter removed of course) i would think they got about as much out of it stock as they felt need be.

Honestly, even if the kid picked up the 40 hp he claims, he'd be lucky to be at 415 bhp with his mods, and in a 4100 lbs car especially with the 250 lbs he adds to it, I say I have a distinct advantage being about 1200-1300 lbs lighter.
