The last mustang I owned was a 5.0liter. Might be time for another one.

Thats what I'm sayin. The only thing I don't like about the 2010s is the tail lights. Just not a fan of the sequentials.

Technically Ford hasn't confirmed anything yet. At least not officially.

Rumor has it that used S197s have dropped about 20,000% of their value since that article was released.

SN95's only about 6,500%.

ROFL

Probably true. Ford just completely annihilated the resale value of the 3v 4.6 cars.

Default 2011 Mustang GT; 412hp 390tq

So what will it run? I think it will be capable of mid/high 12's on stock rubber at 113mph. Obviously I'm talking about a great run at sea level. Probably run 13.9 at 107mph with me driving.

Here are the specs:

  • 412hp @ 6500rpms
  • 390 ft/lbs
  • MT82 six-speed manual
  • 6R80 six-speed automatic transmission
  • Aluminum Block
  • Sleeved cylinders
  • Vertical Intake Ports
  • 4 valves per cylinder
  • Twin Independent VVT
  • Tuned Exhaust Headers (Interesting)
  • Forged Crank
  • 4 bolt mains
  • High performance rods and pistons (Forged?)
