a friend of mine just got a 2009 cobalt ss/tc coupe, he hasn't talked any **** at all, but i'm just curious to see who would win in a race. dig or roll. it seems that a good rolling race for me is in 2nd gear at 50 mph, because i'm hitting 4500 rpm, and im making the max amount of torque. i don't really have mods, all i've got is pypes muffler deletes and a k&n air filter.

You'd do better from a dig.

If both of you guys are absolutely bone stock, then you should put a car or two on him from a dig, and stay dead even from a roll. Keep an eye on that SS though, they get quick easy.

From a dig, I'd say you got it. But, watch out from a roll. I've heard of them running with high 12-low 13 second cars from rolls, in stock form.

Hm, yeah I'd also agree from a roll the SS/TC would probably pull on the S197 GT.
