Default 1999 cobra vs h22 del sol prediction

so i have a friend that recently swapped a h22 into his del sol. he says he has 240 hp in his 2200 pound del sol. i have a bone stock 1999 cobra and he wants to race

would i be able to take him out?

240 at the wheels or flywheel? Either way i think he should have you if his car is truly that light.

assuming 240 fly that's a 240/2200= ~.11 hp/pound

where the cobra is about 320/3400=~.094 hp/lb

He very well could be lying about the weight and or the hp, like not including the driver, or just a random number he came up with. I think from a dig you will be close.

Only one way to truly know though, lol.

you can hp per lbs till your blue in the face, the difference is torque

... Is this really a comparison. Cobra. Seriously. This is a joke. H22 is a prelude motor. Seriously, people are losing so much faith in our cars it's incredible. I'm tired of seeing "can I beat a stock scion" or can I beat a stock corolla. Seriously... Have faith in your car, race, and win.
