Default new edge gt with full bolt ons vs wrx full bolt who wins?

'00 mustang gt with full bolt ons, longtubes, hpipe, mac mufflers dumped, bbk pulleys, steeda cai, accufab tb/plenum, sct tune with custom mail order tune. 3.73 gears, gutted trunk and no back seats.

vs.

'02 wrx. NO interior, it's got a steering wheel, front seats, and shifter, that's it. has a header, uppipe, downpipe to a resonator than dumped, short ram intake, ported intake/tgv delete, big tmic(bigger than sti) 750cc injectors, stock turbo with i believe 20psi, however much the most psi you can run on the td04.

this is a roll race, prolly 40+. from a dig i think the wrx would rape the mustang but from a higher roll I HOPE the mustangs gonna pull some.

IDK, according to some people the new edge in question is a mid-high 12 second ride without the weight reduction...

going off of this theory with the weight reduction the new edge is a low 12 second car...

that's not counting the bottle stashed in the trunk, or the missing 2nd

xD

on a serious note... I agree with stone

I think a car that runs 12.8 @ 112 would beat the WRX you described. The WRX would probably only trap in the 107 to 108 range.

yeah i figured he wouldn't trap higher than what you said, his last time at the track he ran a 13.3 at 96. that was with a stage 2 tune, and uppipe/tbe, almost the same amount of weight reduction, i figured he'd pick up around 10mph. but what would be the guess on the trap of the mustang? maybe 105?

Uh oh, gutted trunk and no back seats = add 2 or 3 mph

So that car should trap 107-110.
