Default M3

Do you think an 03 gt would have to be running forced induction to stay with a E46 M3 from a dig? a roll?

...which one is the E46? If it's the 333hp inline six M3....well, it will need some work done to it. To actually beat it I just don't think it's likely to do it with just bolt on's on the GT.

If it's the newer V8 M3's, then hell no.

Yes, the E46 is the inline six. I believe the E90 is the new gen.

Just curious.

E46 M3's usually run 13's, and trap 104-106 with a decent driver.

The new E92 runs mid-high 12's, and traps about 112-114 with a decent driver.

You will need bolt-ons to run with an E46, and F/I to run/beat an E92 M3.

What king of bolt ons are you talking... The normal stuff or more like cams and extensive engine work?

the e90 is the four door, the e92 is the coupe, the e93 is the vert. id say you would have a hard time from a roll for the e46.

My buddy had an 03 M. He ran 13.6@102 with a 2.0 sixty at cecil county. Thats a fairly fast track and that sixty isn't terrible. He was cute. He thought his 60 grand car would hang with my stage 3 on slicks. So I think a real good driver in a new edge with a few goodies bolted on could put up a good fight from a dig. From a roll I think it would be a little more difficult.

You would need every bolt-on available, without engine work to run/beat a stock E46. They are known for low 13's, and decent traps.

F/I would get you near the speed of an E92, but, they still have the edge.

Ok just curious. I wasn't planning on trying to challenege one or anything but someone I know wants to get one and thinks it's like a supercar or something. Supposedly nothing could beat it. They are very nice and I know they are fast but not the way the person makes it seem, which was why I was wondering how my car would stand against it, just for sake of argument.
