The only thing I miss about RWD is the way it throws you back in the seat when you get on the gas. You feel like your going fast even in a slow RWD car. But the mad rush when a big turbo spools up is a very cool feeling also.

No doubt. It takes a second longer, but the power comes on strong once the tires are planted and the boost builds. I went from 11psi and 6500 rpms to 17-18 psi and 7000 rpm. So now when it builds up, its much more dramatic. You're completely right about RWD though. My S197 hooked really well on the street and with more low end torque, plus the rear squat, it gave that sensation of hauling ***. In reality, it wasn't launching better than a 2.0 60'. I've got a in car vid of a pass in that car. As the front end lifts and the rear squats, you go from seeing the track pavement through the camera lens to seeing nothing but sky, lol. Makes it look like its really doing something, lol.

This car will hook OK once its right though. It won't take all that much I don't think. The weight transfer is an easy fix, as is the flimsy mounts. With the right tire it should be getting 2.0s somewhat consistently.

Not, exactly. I'm trying to decide if I want to sell the Cobalt and pay the diff of what I owe then save for a while and enjoy not having a payment and buy an EVO. Or buy a twincharge kit.. If I keep it I have the $ for the kit I just feel guilty for dropping so much money.

It just has a better powerband then a straight turbo swap.

Hahn turbo swap.

Twincharge 25.5psi on pump gas

You spent the money of the Mopar kit, do you think it was worth it?

Well I plan to hold on to the car. So yes it was worth it to me. 360WHP in a lite *** car like that will likely net you traps in the 114-115 range. Just imagine how much you'd have to spend to trap 115 off the show room floor. I'm pretty sure the GT500 is the cheapest car that can pull it off and look what they go for? But a great handling car like an EVO would be a lot of fun also. I put a few grand into handling upgrades and still have lest than 26 invested. and the car will run near Z06 times at the strip or around an autocross. The nice thing about owning the car outright now is I can start a new project anytime I want to take on another big car payment and still have the beast sitting in the driveway til I find money to mod a new car.

IDK ZZP has made 440whp with it on pump gas. If I get it I will get it dyno tuned and will probably get methonal and see what happens. Either way I know it would be a hell of a lot faster than it is now. My wife said it was ok, but I have to really talk to her, haha.
