Got the Cobalt Dyno Tuned -Vids
I've thought about mounting further under the car, but I'm afraid it would hang down too low. Dynomax is supposed to be quiet and flow better than stock, but I'm not digging the design. Doesn't look like it would flow too well, imo. Magnaflow makes some pretty long mufflers and do a good job of keeping noise down, so they are on the top of my list. Basically, I'm looking for what most 4 banger owners want... a muffler with a deep non-raspy/rice sound that flows. Megan Racing and Ark exhausts sound alright over my POS speakers, but I hear they are loud as hell from actual owners.
What diameter is the stock muffler?
This is what I have..

That's great Trey. That is a mean little GM. Easily a car that could trap 105mph. Now I look forward to seeing you pull 1.6' 60's in a fwd domestic like BB has. Just throw some slicks on it.
Surprised the clutch didn't slip during the pulls.

I went to the track tonight. Only got two passes in due to the massive crowd, etc. I'll put up vids as soon as they upload. Both runs were 13.9 at 103 mph, one with a 2.2 60' and the other on a 2.1 60'. Not bad for my first time dragging a FWD car I guess. My clutch slipped 2nd and 3rd a little, so that most likely cost me a couple mph/tenths. I left the spare tire, etc in the car, half tank of fuel, and ran it at operating temp. The air was awesome though, actually dipped down to 68 degrees and was dry air. It should run a 13.5-13.6 with a proper clutch, maybe a low 13 with DRs. All speculation of course.
