Default ROUCHARGED

Hey,

Just bought a roush blower for my car(m90). I'll be running the stock Roush tune(5psi) to try it all out, keeping the exhaust and 4.10 gears. The kits dyno around 370rwhp usually.

On street tires, With the mods in my sig, I mid 13s@105 usually. This is accomplished with a 2500rpm launch(slipping) and 6-6500rpm shifts.

Once I find time to install it, I will take it to the track.

Any ideas what It'll run????

And that's RoushCharged*............lol

At least a 12.8@108-110 or a 12.4@111, possibly better. Not sure how well the Nitto555s hook. I ran my best of 12.5@108 on street tires after a very long cool down with right around 350-360whp. I usually run a tire spinning 12.8@109mph on an average cool down, since you have an intercooler and more torque you may have better times, especially with the Nittos.

You should be able to run 12.8s consistently at 109-111. There's no doubt it has a mid 12 in it with traction/glory pass/plenty of practice/etc. A lot of people talk down on the m90 because it maxes out pretty quickly, but its a proven and reliable piece. Powerbands are all too often overlooked in favor of peak numbers.

Yea, I would love to trap 110 with the car. C&D trapped 111 but their #s differ from reality sometimes. I've also seen MMFF run a pitiful 13.3@105....idk how they managed that BC I've run about that in really hot weather NA. I'm thinking traction on street tires may be an issue with the 4.10s.....I called a couple places about their 500hp package and supposedly those can trap 115, does that sound right?

500hp (crank) should net you some decent traps. The 4.10s will surely be a handful but if the Nitto's hook, you should be good! You should look into the AFCO dual fan intercooler upgrade because it will take care of all of your cooling needs from what I hear.

There is a member of FNSweet that ran a 11.9 with full bolt ons, and others running very low 12s with similar mods... those guys are some serious M90 fans over there.

Lol yea they are. Well with 500 crank, gears and slicks you ought to be able to get an 11.99

look at NA cars doing that

@ 5-6PSI you are alright with your choice, the M90 unit itself sees peak efficiency @ that PSI

anything higher and you start making it a heat factory really quick... M90's aren't that great of blowers IMO, not sure why Roush even uses them

no offense

I think they didn't use the tried and trusted M112 on our cars because it'll be a little too close to GT500 numbers with a few more mods. plus, the Roush are track cars aren't they? I bet they wanted something that would give it power, but still have balance overall, not just all out power.
