Alright fella's so it's time for a new mustang to come out, what do you guys think this things gonna be capable of. figure a time for both stock tires and dr's, with an experienced driver. For those of you that haven't heard about it yet it's a confirmed 5.8 w/ 2.3tvs blower at 15lbs, rated at 650hp/600ftlbs and will have an adjustable "2step" along with launch control that's saposed to be really good at keeping the tires from spinning uncontrollably while not taking away too much of the power.

my guess:
street tires: 11.8@125
dr's: 11.3@126

 

Anything faster than the Camaro ZL1 lolololollolololl

Maybe it could hit 10's with DR's? Stock tires though my guess is in the 11's @ 127 mph.

 

I say low 11's on street tires and high 10's on drag radials.

 

I'm thinking mid to high 11's on street tires.. Do you guys think this car has a chance against a stock ZR1??

 

I dunno about the ZR1...the ZR1 should be faster on paper but driving skill will be crucial. Both cars with stock tires anything goes but I'm still leaning towards the 'vette.

 

I'm with Soldier on this one. Going to see higher 11s on average, and plenty of 12.0-12.8s, lol. The driver mod will see mid to -11.5 ETs. With DRs and an amazing pilot like me, maybe a 10.99

 

I think we'll see mid tens on dr's. With the super snake ff&mm got mid 10's, and that's without any launch control. This one should rival that IMO. Maybe I'm just being a little over zealous though.

 

I think the car is capable of it, just not so sure about the drivers!

 

Will they come in auto?? If so that should be a easy mid to low 11 stang with DR's..
