I still remember when some kids took a new Challenger RT on a test drive. This is when I still had my 08 GT/450whp SC. I let him get next to me after seeing him floor it in my rear view mirror.. right as he was next to me at 45 mph right about to zoom pass me, I floor it!

Immediately put 5-6 cars on him like nothing lol

They pass me again after I slow down..they were all like "WTF!?"..

So they aren't completely out of my range. I'm planning on getting my d/s put in. Is that good for a tenth or so?

from what I hear, you'll be quicker with the DS.. not sure by how much though..

Don't forget you're about 2,000 lbs. lighter than that tanker lol, I think you couldve taken him..Maybe you'll run into him again

Was that sarcasm? lol

Curb weight for curb weight its probably around 500 lbs....but the challenger also has a 5.7l motor.

hmm i thought the new challenger rt got a bump in power but i guess not, just the v6 and srt8...

I guess with your mods id say it could be a driver's race, advantage to the RT though.

It did get a bump 370 hp with 395 lb-ft of torque vs Im pretty sure they used to be rated at 340 hp in 2008...

their new eagle heads (09+) flow very well from what I have read.

I can't wait til a tuner comes out, so I can at least run heads/cam/intake manifold/CAI mods.. a solid 120whp!

Really? Dear mother of God.... I do like the new chargers. Is there a M6 option?
