Default ZL-1 13.0 Really?

580 ponies and it only gets 13.0 WTF???

I had to share this vid, what a surprise. The douche can't drive for crap. Why would they post this on a national website?

Sweet... someone bring me a ZL1 to race... lol

This article seems to have more 'what to expect' results....
http://www.automobilemag.com/feature...t/viewall.html

0-60 mph: 4.3 sec
0-100 mph: 9.5 sec
1/4-mile: 12.6 sec @ 116 mph

Fukn journalist. Says a lot about some of them.

S8er's link looks better, but still a tad below stock potential imo.

Yeah, lots better info. It will be interesting to see how it stacks up with a good driver. I just find it ironic the the Boss is running low 12s with almost 150hp less.

So far I've only heard of a bottom 12 as a best from one of the ZL1s. I think traps were 118ish.. digging now.

Edit: Looks like that's what GM published for numbers.... and they are from a ROLLING START...

http://media.gm.com/content/autoshow...15_zl1_pricing

Will wait to see what actual owners start claiming when / if they ever visit a dragstrip. Should be interesting.

ouch, if all this is actually true, then there's simply no comparison between the new gt500 and the zl1, but then I don't think there are any times published for the gt500 yet...

Well... 4120lbs isn't something GM can play off with clever marketing (though they have done a good job of it so far)... it's really going to show up at the dragstrip and the results are showing that imho... ESPECIALLY considering this is winter... these results are not going to get better during the summer months.

WOW OMG that means my car is only about a halff seccund behind with alot less power!! so all igota do is add a cam & id be neck n neck with a ZL1 at the strip!!!!!!

Maybe these car companies should sell their 500+hp cars with drag radials from the factory.
