Default Bullitt vs Mach 1 vs WRX

A couple of my buddies recently bought some new rides. The first one bought an 03 Mach 1. It's mods are gears, a bassani x pipe, and a lot of road track suspension. The driver isnt exactly known for being a great driver. I feel that I'm a better driver than him. With that being said, how well do you think I'd fare from a dig and rolls? Stone, I'll need your Mach 1 expertise.

The other match is against an 06 WRX. This one I feel confident that I'll smash. The driver hasn't driven a manual in years. Not saying that he can't but he's had a s10 blazer for a while now. Its relatively stock as far as I know. It doesn't look like to have any exhaust. But then again, the owner is being sly with what he has. I'll try and get these going soon. I said to the drivers that when they have a better feel for their cars to come see me lol. What do you think will happen.

My mods: 3.73's, bassani x pipe, Borla stingers, canned tune, jlt cai.

I can tell you straight up that the Mach has the capability to absolutely walk away from you once it gets above 4k RPM. That being said, they have to be driven a certain way to do anything other than get embarrassed. If your buddy isn't afraid to run those RPMs on up close to 6800, and shift like he's trying to rip the gear stick out of the floor, then once you guys get rolling he should most definitely get away from you. I ran very consistent 13.0s at 107-109 in my Mach(s). Even had a few 12.9s and 110 traps in perfect air... 4.10s, ORX, filter, sts, cat-back.

In reality though, if you're the better driver you can definitely take him. From a dig he's going to need to be very easy thru 1st gear or its going to spin with 4.10s. From a roll he needs to be sitting at at least 4500 RPM on the hit. If not, it'll be over before it begins.

Not an expert on the WRX, but you shouldn't have too much trouble with him. Seems like they run 14.0 to low 14s at 97-99 mph or so.

Dont be to quick to judge the WRX, my son has one that will run 11:50s all day long and you would never know it by looking at it. Them things are AWD, my son launches at almost 6,000 and that thing almost leaves the ground. Dont get me wrong I'm no big fan of them, but they will haul the mail if built right that's for sure.

Stock WRX, so long as it isn't an STI, you will destroy him. Hell, my pullied Super Coupe would take one.

I know what they are. This one isn't built from what my friend told me. At first I was worried about it being a Sti, but after seeing it, I'm not too worried. I'm definitely worried about the Mach though since I know how ugly it could get. I was just curious if an average driver piloting it could be beat.

Good, that's what I wanted to know. I know he's not a terrible driver but he doesn't have a driver mod either. Not saying that I do but I have years of seat time on my B and know her well. I'm trying to get this set up soon but both of my friends keep stalling.

Thats why I think you stand a decent chance...between your mods and seat time, and knowing what it takes to really get the most out of a Mach and your friend being new to the Mach world. In fact, from a dig, if you do your part, it could actually be ugly for him.
