Default Another potential run....

Got a text message from a local srt4 guy the other day, looking to setup a run between me and his srt4 caliber buddy. Ive seen the car around, but the guy setting the race up was very vague on the details of the caliber (hell, he doesn't know whats done to his own car, lmao).

From what I can hear/see, it has some sorta exhaust work done, I can hear the bov, and see a big fmic. Thats all I know about it.

With those very few details, how is this looking? We're gonna run for sure, just a matter of getting the stars to line up. I gotta feeling there's more to the story then I know, but we will see!

Edit: Just did some looking... looks like they're ~200lbs lighter and right at the same whp stock as I am.... Looks like I answered my own question, lol.. Gonna be a fun run anyways!

A modded SRT Caliber is likely to be a 12-second car or quicker. I've run one locally a few times. If you're running mid 13s, you're gonna want to race from a dig and go 1/8th mile. You should win that race if you hook.

I raced a modded srt4 on the freeway with my 06 gt with common bolt ons. Was the closest race I've ever had. Ran 3 times from about 40mph roll each time. Pulled on him everytime slowly by about a car. But it was quick for sure!

Mid 13s are common with a few mods. Bigger turbo will net 12s. You should be fine. Still on the Map okbfd. I'm near philly so got spared all the brutal stuff the shore saw.

Good to hear BB. Have you stalled out on your build or still working on it?

She's at the speed shop right now getting an NHRA certified rear built. Hopefully I'll have the suspension done before spring and then all that is left is a trannsmission to handle the abuse.

Yeah, no problems hitting 12's on it if you want. Even with Neon's and their baby turbo. I know the Neon has nipped 11's stock turbo and low 11's with spray(stock turbo). Caliber turbo is a decent amount bigger (Comparable to the Neon's Mopar Stage 3 turbo).. .. .

That is correct.
