Default H/C LS1 Vs 450WHP EVO

Got a little something lined up. Going to happen this weekend if the weather stays dry, but thats beginning to look iffy as the weekend nears, so its a bench race for now. There will be go-pro vid and all that good stuff. All I know is that this EVO is making 450 AWHP and barely pulled the same 150 shot 01 Cobra that I pulled on (once I got a clean run). Word from is the Cobra was running low on bottle pressure both times, but idk. Here is the EVO running the same 427 I ran (and lost to).

Here is what my run against him looked like... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGExj...ature=youtu.be

Place your bets ladies. I think he'll pull for a second then I'll stop his pull..unless I can find some drag radials before then and get him to do a low 20 roll or dig.

It looks like his car 'hangs around' the Vette longer than your car does. I think he will definitely get the jump on you, I don't know if you will be able to run him down or not. Should be a good run!!

On paper and judging by the videos, he should have a slight advantage but I'm going to bet on you because LS1.

I think this is the evo's race to lose. 450whp evo's seem to impress me, this is one that should be in that same whp range, and this was my car in it's current 121/122 mph state.

What do those EVOs weigh in at? This one says he is at 3550..I'm thinking the older one is a lot lighter?

I think he'll pull some. I do think I'll stop his pull, but from a roll like this I agree its his race to lose. Wish I could get him to go to the track..

Man I think it will be close..your advantage as speed rises. Hope the weather holds (its been snowing here all week so I secretly hope everyone else suffers too. haha)... most sources show the Evo X around 3500lbs.. unless it's an MR or some special one.

The IX was lighter...
Curb Weight: 3,263 lbs (EV0) 3,219 lbs (EVO RS) 3,285 lbs (EVO MR)

Getting drag radials put back on in the morning...so now I'll be able to show those guys what a stalled H/C LS1 can do down low. This is assuming I can get him to agree to a dig or slow roll at 30mph or slower.

I would think he would agree given his awd capabilities. I think the higher rolls will be harder for you to take. But knowing you I'm sure they'll be a way for you to come out on too. I'd rarely bet against you.

He'd be a ***** not to take a dig with the AWD. My buddy cuts 1.7s on street tires with his 335Xi. And he's leaving soft because his car is an auto.
