Hey everyone,

Long story short, the weather is getting nicer here, and the local track has opened up. Never been, so I'm pretty excited to go.

Anyway, I've read in several places, and have had people tell me to turn off the traction control. However, I don't have a TC button. I've never seen the TC light on my cluster go off either whenever I spin my tires.

I've also read that if your car starts off as a fleet/rental, they sometimes take out the TC button so people can't turn it off. Since my car started as one of these, does this mean I can't turn it off? Am I basically stuck with TC being on permanently?

Any info would be great!

 

If you don't have a TCS button on the upper left of the center stack, then your car didn't come with it. It was an option on the 2005-09 (maybe through 10, can't remember).
