i uploaded this last year sometime and took it down. came across it today on my laptop and uploaded it again. guy claimed his car was stock and i called bs when he told me that, you can clearly hear the turbo as soon as he goes WOT. no passenger for him and my ex gf filming for me. 45 roll in 2nd, took it up midway through 4th

I don't mean to be a jerk.... but from the way you pulled him and mods + extra weight from the passenger... he could have been stock. Your car is good for 108ish traps? Add in a passenger... seems to add up.

 

you think so? all it said on the back was wrx, i figured it was just a debadged sti with mods.

 

i've run other stock wrx's and sti's and they didn't keep up nearly as well as this guy did

 

I thought only the STI had that hood scoop??


That doesn't greatly surprise me. I got butthurt by a modded STI in my 06 GT with the same mods and a highway run. What made it especially embarrassing was he had a Turbo Mafia sticker on his window

 

I remember this vid. Honestly, that STI/WRX would need quite a few mods to keep up from a roll. I could see it having a few minor mods for sure.
