Trading SS for 392 Scat Pack.

Ditto. The auto kicks butt with the Hemi. A dude I raced with can't get out of the 13's if his life depended on it lol (stick shift), his 60 fts. are stuck at 2.2/2.3, but he still manages 13.2/13.3@111mph which is actually pretty terrible but I don't say anything
If I get him just right at the tree with the reaction time, I can out launch and keep him off the entire 1/4, most of the time he puts about two cars on me and keeps me there. Not a terrible difference imo, but once he gets tires he should be right at mid 12's.. no reason he wouldn't. Still a great car that 392 Challenger/stick. I actually wouldn't even mind the RT with the 8 speed, always wanted a Chally since 2009...

Yea, this guy had a manual. I hear the autos are way nastier. He just couldn't get it to bite no matter what he tried.

It's like no one keeps auto 392's on the lot or something!
You gotta be kidding me. She must be a die hard bowtie gal if she wants the SS over the Mopar. That 392 is sick as hell. I like the newer '14 SS's over the older one, especially the ZL1 but the 392 still gets my vote.

LOL I got beat down on two different fronts. We took the car to the dealer and the bozos only wanted to give us 25k in trade for a mint 2011 with 12k miles. That's about 4 grand to low and they wouldn't budge on the cost of the chally. Momma was actually happy about all of this. She loves her SS to death so that's that.
