Default Which handheld should I buy?

I have a '04 gt with 3.73's, headers, catback, cold air intake, larger throttle body, underdrive pulleys, and bigger wheels. This car is a daily driver and I race it on the weekends.I'm leaning toward buying the SCT X3 but, not knowing much about tuners, I would like to know what other guys think. Should I get the SCT or Diablosport or Sniper or ????? Let me know!!!

If you plan on heavier mods and are going to do some custom dyno tunes, then go with whatever the shop in your area uses. If you are looking for something that will have the best user adjustability and awesome customer service, go with Sniper Special Forces. It is much better than just having diablo or SCT handheld and will allow you to do some custom tuning without the crazy costs of going to a dyno shop.

I have heard that about Sniper too. I would go SCT if I could do it again. More custom email tunes available. Check for dynotuners in your area.

sniper stuff is great, if you know how to tune. most any SCT can be custom tuned for what ever your doing. some tuners are even able to direct flash your car, so there is no handheld to mess with

Any SCT Xcal or Diablo Predator will be able to be custom tuned for whatever you throw at it. Directly flashing a car with a new tune is also something that can be done by any of the three mentioned by a professional tuner. Sniper is very easy to use. If you can read simple instructions and hit the click button on a mouse, you can make yourself a nice tune and adjust for many aftermarket parts without ever seeing a dyno or paying fees for tuning.

As someone who has used all three, I would say Sniper has by far the best customer service. You can get on the phone call them directly and speak with a professional tuner that tunes mustangs all them time and will walk you through whatever questions you have. That's a lot more than I can say for the tech lines of SCT or Diablo
